ABOUT Arin

For over 16 years Arin has been working as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist with children from infancy to adolescences. Arin has loved working with children in areas of sensory processing, feeding challenges, social emotional development, fine motor and gross motor developmental. Using play-based therapy, she works closely with families to create a treatment plan to best support developmental growth that empowers the entire family.

In 2007, Arin graduated from the University of Puget Sound with a Masters in Occupational Therapy. Arin completed her certification in Neurodevelopmental Treatment (NDT) in 2016, which provided her with advanced knowledge in working with children with motor and sensory challenges. She continued to increase her advance clinician training by completing Level 1 of the Sensory Processing Mentorship through the Stars Institute in early 2019.

Arin hopes to continue her growth as a clinician while providing excellent therapeutic services to families of West Seattle and the greater Seattle area.
Occupational Therapy services

Individual Therapy services: Within Arin's clinic in West Seattle she provided play based pediatric occupational therapy services. With a comprehensive evaluation and treatment plan will be completed to meet the current needs of your child and the entire family. All treatment sessions will last appropriately 55 minutes in length with at least one primary caregiver to ensure success towards the child’s goals.
What is occupational Therapy for kids?

Pediatric Occupational Therapy helps children gain independence while also strengthening the development of fine motor skills, sensory motor skills, and visual motor skills that children need to play and learn. A child’s "Occupation” is to play and learn. In Pediatric Occupational Therapy we can help address any concerns that impact a child’s ability to learn, play or grow from their natural environment. With play-based therapy we can strengthening the development of fine/gross motor skills, sensory processing and social/emotional skills.
